Bathtime Fun!

Tonight was one of those nights that makes all the crying, whining, spitting up, screaming, and all the other baby/toddler things worth it!

We (Aiden and mommy) gave Avery a bath together. Usually this is a task that I conquer solo, but in an effort to make Aiden more involved (he's really been clingly lately and when I hold/feed Avery, he tells me he loves me as he tries to climb on my lap) in the everyday things, I asked him to help me.

He was SUPER excited to help. He washed her and rinsed her off. After her bath he helped me put on her lotion helped me get her dressed in her jammies. He kissed her on her forehead and together we tucked her into bed.

My heart melts for these two...my beautiful babies. I'm thankful each and every day for them and can't imagine my life any less hectic :)

Mom's Visit

My mom came to visit us earlier this month. She was here for two weeks and it was so good to see her. It's been a whole year (WAY TOO LONG MOM) since we saw her last. Thank goodness we have Skype! Here are some photos from her visit!

It's Official

Aiden is potty trained. We are going on a month now but it's been a week and a half with NO ACCIDENTS (HURRAY)!

It's really amazing how one day they have no interest and then, BAM, the next day they are running to the bathroom holding themselves saying "mommy, gotta potty!"

Even at Hershey Park (IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WATER PARK) he came running to me telling me that he had to go pee. I couldn't believe it. I though most kids just peed in thier pants at that age (thank goodness he didn't).

It's quite convenient to have him out of diapers (and pretty freaking cheap too)!

Now, if only I could get him to stop whining....that would be SUPER!

Rollie Pollie

My baby girl is rolling over! I remember it taking a long time with aiden but Avery has it down! She did it for the first time a few weeks back but has started really rolling over while my mom was in town (I'll post about that this evening).

We have also started with the solid foods. This is my FAVORITE milestone and I can't believe she's already big enough to start.

Time is flying by way too fast!
